Vancouver film maker and animator Gord Stanfield premieres his third filmed feature film, The GLOVE.
The GLOVE 2016. 90 mins – Brian’s search for his missing Grandfather turns into a supernatural event for his Grandmother.
The film was shot in the lower mainland this summer and stars Kerry James of ‘Heartland’ (TV series)Braleigh James of ‘Sinsters’ (Feature), Dayleigh Nelson, Sue Sparlin and Aiden Cumming Teicher winner of the 2016 Young Entertainers Award (Best young actor under age 10 – Short Film) and Aiden Cumming Teicher winner of the 2015 Young Performers’ Award under age 10.
Brian starts his summer vacation by setting out to find his missing Grandfather. Brian quickly finds his Grandfather Captain Swan in a small river town plotting his next overseas voyage. At first Brian is ignored by Swan, but Brian’s persistence results in Swan and his crew telling Brian secrets they have carried with them for hundreds and even thousands of years. While Swan awaits his next cargo to ship out, Brian figures out how Swan was cheated out of a parcel of land… but not before his Grandmother gets a second chance meeting with the immortal captain Swan.
