Hong Kong martial arts superstar Stephen Chow co-wrote, directed, and stars in the action-packed comedy blockbuster KUNG FU HUSTLE, which is getting some Friday Late Night Movie love on our big screen on April 22. Amazing special effects blend seemlessly in this high-flying martial arts epic set in early ’40s China, which follows hapless Sing (Stephen Chow) and his dim-witted pal who try to scam the residents of Shanghai’s Pig Sty Alley into thinking they’re members of the dreaded “Axe Gang.” When the real gangsters return to restore their fearsome reputation, they must contend with the three legendary retired kung-fu masters who quietly live in the decrepit neighborhood – and don’t take kindly to strangers. Also starring Feng Xiaogang, Chan Kwok-kwan, Yu Xing, Dong Zhihua and Chiu Chi-ling.
