Blood N Guts is a Vancouver wide indie horror film competition open to EVERYONE where contestants have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a short horror film under 5 minutes. With a $2000 minimum growing prize pool, awards for Best Film, Best Student Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Audience Choice, Best Cinematography, Best Writing, Best Directing Best Editing, Best Sound and Scariest Film; this is the ultimate lower mainland indie film competition. The competition runs September 28th to 30th.

There will be two screenings: a semi finalist screening and a finalist screening, but your ticket will get you into both.

ELIGIBILTY

All entrants must be residents of British Columbia.
All films must be shot in British Columbia within the 48 hours of the festival.
Entrants cannot be employees of ‘This is a Spoon Studios’, Gearbase Camera Rentals or staff for the 48 hour contest.
