The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) returns to the Rio Theatre from February 23 – March 4 with their Winter Series of 2025. We’re going to be screening nine shows as part of The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, including a lineup of adventure-inspiring, thought-provoking films. Watch stories of identities being carved out on the slopes, breathtaking mountain-sport achievements, and learn more about the wild spaces we’re so lucky to live and work within.

Mountain Voices celebrates diverse stories of connection and self-discovery.

Follow two climbers navigating social barriers in Lebanon; explore the bond between an Indigenous Olympian and his community; reflect on a life shaped by rivers in Chile; witness a biracial skier’s journey of identity; dive into the life of a reindeer herding family in northern Mongolia.
