Join us for director Jason Wise’s SOMM: INTO THE BOTTLE, the highly-anticipated follow-up to his acclaimed 2013 documentary SOMM, proceeded by a very special VIP wine tasting, a sommelier panel with local experts, and more! Hosted by The Georgia Straight’s resident wine columnist Kurtis Kolt, the evening will also include an appearance by director Jason Wise for a Skype Q&A following the film.

Jason Wise’s first documentary feature SOMM introduced the intense, never-before-seen journey of those looking for the ultimate accreditation: Master Sommelier. The fim followed the journey of four men who spent years in their dogged pursuit, while also capturing numerous wine-abundant regions and landscapes across Europe. In SOMM2 2: INTO THE BOTTLE, the film catches up with the four men while also offering an insider’s look at the wine industry (ie, what actually makes it “into the bottle”).
