Join us at the Rio Theatre on Monday, July 29 for Jokes For Life: A Comedy Fundraiser in support of Make-a-Marc.
Some of Vancouver’s top comedians are coming together to help offset their friend Marc Urcioli‘s medical bills in his on-going fight with cancer – with a night of laughter. Hosted by Dave Harris, the night will feature performances by Kyle Bottom, Chris James, Kevin Banner, Charles Demers, Graham Clark, Fatima Dhowre, Erica Sigurdson, James Kennedy, Chris Griffin, and more.

Our dear friend Marc has cancer.
He’s managed to stay one step ahead of it for the last 15 years. He’s recently been presented with a chance to put himself several steps ahead of it, but we need your help.
Why?
Marc has recently been selected to participate in a new clinical trial conducted by a team of specialists in the US for his type of cancer. All of this is great news, but it comes with significant expense.
We estimate between past and future treatment Marc’s treatments have / will cost approximately $200,000. Being sick is one thing. Carrying the financial burden of medical expenses certainly doesn’t help. We’d like to take this burden off his shoulders so he can focus 100% on his treatment.
There’s much more to Marc’s story. We encourage you spend some time understanding his journey and in particular, the clinical trial he is participating in. If you can’t spare the time, we’d really appreciate you support this effort with a contribution to the love and life fest that is Marc.
