Y tu mamá también

Life has its ways of teaching. Life has its ways to confuse us. Life has its ways to move us. Life has its ways to amaze. Life has its ways to hurt us. Life has its ways to heal. Life has its ways to inspire.

Before breaking into Hollywood with films like CHILDREN OF MEN and GRAVITY, director Alfonso Cuarón made his name with arthouse audiences thanks to the sexy roadtrip movie Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN (which he also co-wrote). Gael Garcia Bernal (NERUDA, THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES) and Diego Luna (ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY) star as two Mexican teenagers who learn a thing or two about life, friendship, sex, and each other when they embark on a road trip with an attractive and liberated (though unhappily married) older woman. Also starring Maribel Verdu.

“Raunchy, smart, ebullient, melancholy, insightful, surprising, funny, frank and sexy as all get-out.” (Chicago Tribune)

“Part travelogue, part road picture, part meditation on class, mortality and intimacy, this extraordinary little movie might be the perfect harbinger of summer, as astute as it is steamy.” (The Washington Post)

“Cuaron’s hot-blooded, haunting and wildly erotic film revels in the pleasures of the flesh without losing touch with thought and feeling. Its emotions are as naked as its bodies.” (Rolling Stone)
