The Wizard of Oz (FREE Screening!)

Lions and tigers and bears - oh my!

“Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas any more…”

As a young farm girl caught in one of the most candy-coated, kaleidoscopic whirlwind fantasy fables ever, Judy Garland delivers one of the most iconic performances of all time in one of the most iconic films of all time – THE WIZARD OF OZ. From the moment it was first published in 1900, Frank L. Baum‘s children’s novel ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ captured the hearts and minds of audiences young and old alike, blossoming into a modern day “American homegrown fairy-tale” that has since borne sequels, musicals, and – of course – THE WIZARD OF OZ. In addition to it being one of the first major studio films to use the highly saturated Technicolor technology, THE WIZARD OF OZ features a beloved music score and songs, not to mention too many quotable lines to count. Considered to be one of the best films of all time and a genuine pop-culture staple, THE WIZARD OF OZ is best enjoyed on the big screen – and with our bigger sound.
