The Little Prince

Growing up isn't the problem... forgetting is.

Inspired by the beloved 1943 novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince is an utterly charming stop-motion and computer animated adaptation directed by Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda) that features the voices of Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Bud Cort, Marion Cotillard, Benicio del Toro, James Franco, Ricky Gervais, Paul Giamatti, Riley Osborne (Mark Osborne‘s son) as the title character, Albert Brooks and Mackenzie Foy. Elements from the novel are used in flashback and woven into an original narrative about an unnamed young girl who befriends the story’s now-elderly aviator narrator who tells to her the story about his meeting with the Little Prince while she deals with her overbearing mother. *Please note: This film screens in 2D.

“If what is essential is invisible to the eye, then The Little Prince has accomplished the impossible; it has made the invisible visible.”The National Post

“A whimsical journey in favour of following dreams and finding life’s true loves – a film for young audiences as well as for the oldies who’ve lost their way.”The Globe and Mail
