Universally hailed as one of “the best concert films ever made,” director Martin Scorsese’s THE LAST WALTZ chronicles the final, farewell performance of legendary Canadian rockers the Band on Thanksgiving Day, 1976. A musical delight that is as fresh today as it was upon its release, the film features the Band’s members (including Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, and Rick Danko) as well as over a dozen special guests like Bob Dylan,Paul Butterfield, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Hawkins, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood, Neil Diamond, Bobby Charles, The Staple Singers, and Eric Clapton.
