When iconic comic legend (that’s not an overstatement) Mel Brooks took aim at parodying the biggest sci-fi movie franchise ever (that’s not an overstatement, either) the result was SPACEBALLS, an epically hilarious comedy that was embraced by movie-lovers of all genres. Featuring an all-star cast including Brooks himself, John Candy, Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, Daphne Zuniga, Joan Rivers, John Hurt, and Jim J. Bullock.
SPACEBALLS (Mel Brooks, 1987 / 96 minutes) | Planet Spaceball’s President Skroob sends Lord Dark Helmet to steal Planet Druidia’s abundant supply of air to replenish their own, and only Lone Starr can stop them.
