“In 9 hours and 23 minutes… You’ll be mine.”
We’re kicking off 2020 with our annual New Year’s Day Hangover Movie Marathon! is there a better way to ring in the New Year than in the dark with friends (or solo, no judgement!), some big screen classics, buttery popcorn and a little bit of ye olde “Hair of the Dog?” (We don’t think so, either.)
This year, we’re featuring Studio Ghibli favourite MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO, David Bowie in Jim Henson‘s puppet-filled musical classic LABYRINTH, the Coen Brothers‘ THE BIG LEBOWSKI (it really ties the day together, man), and Heath Ledger‘s Oscar-winning turn as The Joker in Christopher Nolan‘s THE DARK KNIGHT.
See one – or, if you’re up for it – see ’em all for one sweet, sweet price!
Jim Henson‘s wildly imaginative and highly entertaining puppet-filled classic LABRYRINTH is an all-time audience favourite – and one of our most regularly requested titles! This totally awesome 80’s fantasy adventure features the late, great David Bowie making all kinds of music, magic and mischief as a Goblin King who kidnaps a baby while tormenting a young Jennifer Connelly.
Wear your dancing pants… Audience costumes very welcome and encouraged!
“A real masterpiece of puppetry and special effects, an absolutely gorgeous children’s fantasy movie.” (Chicago Tribune)

LABYRINTH (Jim Henson, 1986 / 101 mins) | Fifteen-year-old Sarah resents her baby brother Toby and secretly wishes that he will just disappear. Her wish comes true when goblins kidnap the boy. Feeling responsible and guilty about his abduction, she sets forth to retrieve him, and finds herself on the adventure of a lifetime. To rescue her brother, she must sneak into the castle of the Goblin King, which is in the center of a fantastical labyrinth. But, the task is easier said than done, for the maze is filled with strange creatures and mind-bending puzzles, and nothing is really as it seems.
