The Princess Bride

It's as real as the feelings you feel.

My name is Inigo Montoya.
You killed my father.
Prepare to die.

We’re kicking off 2023 with one of our favourite annual traditions… The New Year’s Day Hangover Movie Marathon! See one film, or see ’em all for one sweet price! (Single film tickets and day passes are available.) This year we’re highlighting THE PRINCESS BRIDE, THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU, THE BIG LEOWSKI, and THE SHiNiNG.

Based on Goldman‘s 1973 novel of the same name, Rob Reiner‘s THE PRINCESS BRIDE has taken on a life of its own as one of the most beloved (and infinitely quotable) fairy tales to ever hit the big screen, enchanting audiences of all ages since its release in 1987. THE PRINCESS BRIDE follows the story of a kindly grandfather (Peter Falk) who reads his oft-protesting grandson (Fred Savage) a fairytale about giants, wizards, swordplay, Rodents of Unusual Size, true love, and perfect breasts. (And yes…There’s even some kissing.) Starring Mandy Patinkin, Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, André the Giant, Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest, Peter Cooke, Carol Kane, and more.

“As you watch this enchanting fantasy, feel free to be thrilled or to giggle, as you wish.” (Time Magazine)

THE PRINCESS BRIDE (Rob Reiner, 1987 / 98 minutes / PG) | Robin Wright and Cary Elwes star in this fairytale adventure about a beautiful princess and the gallant hero who rescues her from an evil villain.

In this enchantingly cracked fairy tale, the beautiful Princess Buttercup and the dashing Westley must overcome staggering odds to find happiness amid six-fingered swordsmen, murderous princes, Sicilians and rodents of unusual size. But even death can't stop these true lovebirds from triumphing.
