Starring Wendie Malick (Shrinking, Hot in Cleveland, Just Shoot Me), MOTHER OF ALL SHOWS is a mother/daughter musical traumedy where a daughter’s coping mechanism for unresolved familial issues takes centre stage as she retreats into a 70s variety show in her imagination, hosted by her domineering mother, played by Malick.
The film’s world premiere was the sold-out opening night gala at the Art the Brooklyn Film Festival where it went on to win Outstanding Narrative Feature and Outstanding Director of a Narrative Feature for director Melissa D’Agostino. It is nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards (Achievement in Score, Original Song and Achievement in Hair).
