Shot entirely in Nanaimo, BC, local filmmaker Sam Adolph brings his newest feature, FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! to the Rio Theatre for an exclusive Vancouver premiere for one night only!

Matthew Bowman is a lonely call center employee living an apathetic and confusing life. At work, his days consist of attempted cold call sales which are often met with rejection and a boss who’s superiority complex is unmatched. At home he finds himself lost in the infinite sea of ad campaigns on TV, featuring controversial politician: Jimmy Joblinski.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.

Feeling a spur of uncharacteristic spontaneity, Matthew accepts an invitation to a local punk show. At this show he meets another young man, Jacob Mauser. Matthew sees in Jacob what he lacks in himself, confidence, charisma, and a sense of purpose.

As the election looms, Matthew’s eyes are opened to Jacob and his friends’ vastly different worldview. One of sex, drugs and protest.

After an evening of lsd infused partying, Matthew Bowman wakes up in his car on the side of a dirt road… And discovers something that will forever change the course of his life, forcing him to reckon with the nightmare that his life has unraveled into, along with the battlefield his mind has become.
