The Rio Grind Film Festival continues on Saturday, November 23 with writer-director Lowell Dean‘s (WOLFCOP) wrestling horror comedy, DARK MATCH. Set in the 1980’s the follows a small-time wrestling company accepts a well-paying gig in a backwoods town only to learn, too late, that the community is run by a mysterious cult leader with devious plans for their match.
DARK MATCH features real-life wrestling icon Chris Jericho (TERRIFIER 2 and 3), Ayisha Issa, Steven Ogg (THE WALKING DEAD), Sara Canning, Michael Eklund (THE CALL) and Jonathan Cherry, with cinematography by Karim Hussain (POSSESSOR, WE ARE STILL HERE).
