“‘Asteroid City,’ the latest from Wes Anderson, is a true achievement from one of America’s most unique cinematic voices.” (Chicago Reader)

“I flatly delighted in everything set in Asteroid City.” (Austin Chronicle)

“A great return to form for Wes Anderson… This feels like his best movie since ‘Moonrise Kingdom.'” (FilmWeek / NPR)

“As ever, the mannered speech and meticulous framing lend a certain unreality to the proceedings — to say nothing of the brightly saturated image — but it’s hardly style for style’s sake.” (San Diego Reader)

“The purest distillation of what this director brings to cinema, it’s beautiful to look at, surreal, nostalgic and funny in a weird, distanced way.” (San Francisco Chronicle)
