Laurent Paquin has been a leading figure in Quebec comedy for over 25 years. Not only recognized as the JPR Gala host record-holder for 18 years, he has also left his mark with his five one-man shows. He has also made a name for himself on stage, notably in Demain Matin, Montréal M’attend, Le Diner de cons, and in the play he co-wrote with Simon Boudreault On va tous mourir, and in François Avard’s latest series Le Bonheur. This year, he hosted his third ComediHa! Gala.

JUST FOR LAUGHS VANCOUVER is Western Canada’s biggest comedy festival, and a notable tourist attraction that brings thousands of comedy-lovers to see high-profile national and international comedians alongside local talent to Vancouver in February each year, at multiple venues throughout Vancouver.
