On March 5th, Canadian jazz vocalist Jaclyn Guillou will be releasing her 4th album, which recently received a 2016 Juno nomination: This Bitter Earth, an album of songs that pays tribute to Dinah Washington. Guillou’s own reverence and modern day approach to the music brings her diverse influence and personal vocal style into the music. The band includes a string quartet led by Cameron Wilson, piano trio featuring Jillian Lebeck, Andre LaChance, Bernie Arai and special guests Campbell Ryga on saxophone, Tony Del on guitar and Victor Noriega on Organ. Motivational speaker Shane Jeremy James, founder of Actions of Compassion will MC the event.
