Here’s what David has to say about the new album:

“Hey, hey! The big day is finally here! The official release of Vicksburg Call. Over the past month we have been sending copies to the media and previewing the new material at our live shows and the reaction has been amazing! The band and I are very proud of this release and can’t wait to work as many of the new songs as possible into our repertoire and get out there in that land and play ’em for you!”

Early Reviews for Vicksburg Call

“The upbeat, high energy songs continue through the whole album… I was instantly hooked… if you have a chance to see him at any of his upcoming tour dates, don’t hesitate.” – Canadian Beats

“Posessed of first-rate chops and pipes, British Columbian blues rocker David Gogo ups the ante… Seriously smokin’ fretwork is abundant throughout.” – Roots Music Report

“Vicksburg Call contains some of his best songwriting to date – it may even be THE album of his career… it isn’t just a great blues album, it’s one of the best discs I’ve heard all year, period.” – The Record Box / Gonzo Online
