The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) returns to the Rio Theatre in March for a curated selection of must-see adventure films featuring a lineup of adventure-inspiring, thought-provoking films. Watch stories of identities being carved out on the slopes, breathtaking mountain-sport achievements, and learn more about the wild spaces we’re so lucky to live and work within.

High-altitude stories of consequence and resilience.Led by Elia Saikaly, this evening confronts the realities of extreme mountaineering at the highest altitudes. From life-altering injury and recovery to oxygenless ambition on K2, these stories examine consequence, adaptation, and the mindset required to keep going when everything is at stake.
