The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) returns to the Rio Theatre in March for a curated selection of must-see adventure films featuring a lineup of adventure-inspiring, thought-provoking films. Watch stories of identities being carved out on the slopes, breathtaking mountain-sport achievements, and learn more about the wild spaces we’re so lucky to live and work within.

Beyond summits, climbing journeys that explore identity, partnership, and inner terrain. A night that pairs films with a live presentation from Sarah Hueniken. Together, the stories explore partnership, self-reflection, and moments where climbing becomes a space for questioning identity rather than chasing achievement.
