落魄编剧闻善在一次机缘下开始帮人撰写悼词，在写悼词的过程中，闻善 遇到了形形色色的委托人，包括为亲人预约悼词的王先生、万家兄妹；为离世 网友讨要说法的邵金穗；为同事约写悼词的创业者老陆；更有为自己预约悼词 服务的方阿姨。在闻善的成长路上，除了心灵陪伴的小尹，还有一路陪伴的老 师、在殡仪馆工作的好友潘聪聪和有故事的饲养员。闻善在撰写悼词的过程中
，实现了与委托人之间的双向治愈，最终走出内耗、找回自我.

The down-and-out screenwriter Wen Shan chances upon a new vocation—writing eulogies for others. Through this work, he meets a diverse range of clients: Mr. Wang and the Wan siblings, who commission eulogies for their departed relatives; Shao Jinsui, seeking justice for a deceased online friend; Lao Lu, an entrepreneur requesting a eulogy for his colleague; and even Aunt Fang, who pre-orders a eulogy for herself. On Wen Shan’s journey of growth, he is accompanied not only by Xiao Yin, a spiritual confidant, but also by his mentor, his friend Pan Congcong, who works at a funeral home, and a thoughtful zookeeper with stories of her own. Through the process of writing eulogies, Wen Shan and his clients find a mutual sense of healing. Ultimately, he breaks free from self-consuming struggles and rediscovers himself.
