The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) returns to the Rio Theatre from February 23 – March 4 with their Winter Series of 2025. We’re going to be screening nine shows as part of The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, including a lineup of adventure-inspiring, thought-provoking films. Watch stories of identities being carved out on the slopes, breathtaking mountain-sport achievements, and learn more about the wild spaces we’re so lucky to live and work within.

In our Ski & Snow Show discover the story of Yellowknife’s Bristol Pit and its builders, follow skiers on a journey across Eastern European mountains via public transport.
Witness a daring Colorado community’s fight for its future, and explore the Arctic through the Aesthetics project, where challenging conditions reshape riders’ perspectives.
