HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD (Jerry Rothwell, 110 minutes) | In 1971, a group of friends sail into a nuclear test zone, and their protest captures the world’s imagination. Using never before seen archive that brings their extraordinary world to life, How To Change The World is the story of the pioneers who founded Greenpeace and defined the modern green movement.

Eduardo Sousa is a Senior Forests Campaigner for Greenpeace Canada, with more than 7 year’s experience working on the long term protection of old-growth forests on the west coast. He has been working closely with First Nations communities, the BC Government and the logging industry to implement the Great Bear Rainforest Agreements – a conservation plan 20 years in the making. Prior to arriving on the west coast, Eduardo worked as Ontario-Quebec Regional Organizer for the Council of Canadians on public policy issues related to healthcare, water, trade and Canada-US relations. Eduardo also worked as an environmental planner and special projects coordinator for Toronto Parks. He has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University, with a focus on watershed planning and community organizing and mobilization.
