Legendary Indian director Mani Ratnam‘s upcoming Tamil-language gangster action-drama THUG LIFE follows Rangaraaya Sakthivel Naicker, a powerful gangster who was presumed dead and returns, only to find himself at odds with his own son, Amaran “Amar”, leading to a bitter rivalry between them. The highly anticipated title marks the significant reunion between lead actor Haasan and Ratnam, decades after their their previous film, the epic NAYAKAN (1987).
