Katie Miller and Mariachi Los Dorados present “Mi alma mexicana” (My Mexican soul), a fusion of arts, cultures and traditions.  Mezzo-soprano, Katie Miller, is being introduced as the first female Canadian to sing Mariachi. Birthed from a passion for classical music and Mexican culture, this concert is a collaboration between local artists to unite a diverse spectrum of sound and emotion. Enjoy the Mexican ambiance as you walk through the entrance doors, welcomed by Frida Kahlo and the Catrinas. Come early to enjoy drinks and a DJ, and take pictures with the costumed hostesses.  The concert will begin with a classical touch; the first sounds drawn from the piano will invite the melodies of favourite operatic arias and art song.  Just when your appetite has been whetted by the sweet sounds of lyrical singing, enter the coulourful tones of violin, trumpet, and guitars to serenade you with memories of old Mexico.
