The Gentlemen Hecklers (aka comedians Harris Anderson, Eric Fell, Patrick Maliha and Rachel Schaefer) provide live, hilarious commentary for the best bad, cheesy, or so bad-they’re-good in a cheesy-kinda-way films! Vancouver’s masters of movie riffing make your favourite “guilty pleasure” movies even better… By talking you through them!

For many movie-lovers who came of age in the 70s and 80s, the always suave and sublimely debonair Sir Roger Moore will always be remembered as “their first Bond,” thanks to many memorable appearances in the franchise in such classics as LIVE AND LET DIE (1973), THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1974), THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977) and OCTOPUSSY (1983).

But on Wednesday, March 4, the Hecklers are are going to “dance into the fire” as they turn their attention towards Moore’s final appearance as the iconic British super spy, 1985’s A VIEW TO A KILL. Featuring memorable supporting turns from Christopher Walken (as super villain Max Zorin) and the electrifying Grace Jones – not to mention one of the decade’s catchiest theme songs courtesy of Duran DuranA VIEW TO A KILL is the height of decadent 80s nostalgia.

A VIEW TO A KILL (John Glen, 1985 / 131 mins / PG) After recovering a newly developed microchip (designed by Zorin Industries for the British Government, it can survive the electromagnetic radiation caused by a nuclear explosion) from the body of a deceased colleague in Russia, British secret agent James Bond discovers that the technology has the potential for sinister applications – and appears to be in the hands of the KGB. Investigating further, Bond is led to Max Zorin, the head of Zorin Industries. Soon Agent 007 faces off against the villainous Zorin and his tough Amazonian bodyguard, May Day, who are scheming to cause massive destruction that will eliminate the competition.
