INTERMISSION

3:24 – Director Michael Ward – “Angel of the Sea” 2009 Rain City winner for Best Writing and Best Picture
INTERMISSION
5 teams took part in the 2016 Rain City Film Noir 72 Hour Challenge with the Common Theme of “Surveillance” given to the teams in their Inspiration Package along with a Prop and a Character Profile. Being seen by an audience for the first time is the 5 new short films made on an ironically sunny weekend in Vancouver from April 8th to 17th.

4:12 – Directors Cole Northey & Don Millar – “Off the Clock”
4:22 – Director Reilly Leivers – “Stranger to Intregrity”

Awards show for the winners of the 3rd Rain City Film Noir 72 Hour Challenge will be announced after the short film screening. Prizes for the teams include:
$1000 for BEST PICTURE
$500 for BEST DIRECTOR, sponsored by the Director’s Guild of Canada-BC District Council
$1500 rental credit for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY sponsored by Fusion Cine
Free on-camera class for the BEST ACTOR, sponsored by Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop.
