Clueless

“Rollin’ with the homies….”

Since it’s March, and it’s #WomensHistoryMonth, we’re totally gonna toast one of the most ferosh movies directed by a fantastic female, like e-ver, as a Friday Late Night Movie, like OK? And that’s CLUELESS, from writer-director Amy Heckerling (the high-larious genius she-brain behind FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH and LOOK WHO’S TALKING). Also: CLUELESS itself is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s groundbreaking novel ‘Emma,’ but, like, as if you didn’t already know that.)

Shallow, rich and socially successful Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school’s pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give hopelessly klutzy new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. When Tai becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother (Paul Rudd) was right about how misguided she was — and falls for him.
