Glass

Glass

From renowned storyteller M. Night Shyamalan‘s re-imagination of super-hero movies, UNBREAKABLE, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price – known also by his pseudonym, “Mr. Glass.” Joining from Shyamalan‘s SPLIT are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb (and the multiple identities who reside within) and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with “The Beast.” Following the conclusion of SPLIT, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of “The Beast” in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. Also starring Sarah Paulson, Luke Kirby.

“GLASS offers something we never see in contemporary tentpole comic-book movies: a stylized, color-coded, largely visual world, a reality of angles and camera moves.” (MUBI)

“GLASS is M. Night Shyamalan’s enjoyable, nutty sequel to Unbreakable and Split.” (The NYTimes)

“The movie revisits a key idea from UNBREAKABLE and SPLIT – that people can discover the extraordinary in themselves through the power of belief – and brings it to the forefront, in order to tell a story about why it’s important for the world to see people as they truly are… However the rest of 2019 plays out, it’s hard to imagine there will be another superhero movie quite as memorably strange as this one.” (Screen Rant)
