Monday Double Bill!

We’re toasting writer-director Panos Cosmatos with a double double bill bill featuring both his feature debut, 2012’s hyper-stylish midnighter BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW, and one of 2018’s most buzzed about titles, the punishing, blood-soaked hallucinogenic revenge odyssey MANDY. See one, or see them both for one sweet price!

Set in the strange and oppressive emotional landscape of the year 1983, BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW is the outlandish feature film debut of writer and director Panos Cosmatos, a Reagan-era fever dream inspired by hazy childhood memories of midnight movies and Saturday morning cartoons. Featuring a hypnotic analog synthesizer score by Jeremy Schmidt of “Sinoia Caves” and “Black Mountain,” RAINBOW is a film experience for the senses.

Set in the Pacific Northwest’s Shadow Mountains in 1983, MANDY sees Red (Nicolas  Cage, in what many are calling a career-defining performance) and Mandy (Andrea Riseborough) leading a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed, Red is catapulted into a phantasmagoric journey filled with bloody vengeance – and laced with fire.
