I Am Heath Ledger (Directors in Attendance!)

Join us at the Rio Theatre for the poignant and moving documentary, I AM HEATH LEDGER, an intimate look at the life and career of an extraordinarily talented actor whose life was cut tragically short. This feature-length documentary portrait from Vancouver-based director Derik Murray (I AM CHRIS FARLEY) and Adrian Buitenhuis (HUANG’S WORLD) celebrates Ledger’s short but remarkable life: as actor, artist and icon. I AM HEATH LEDGER provides an intimate look at Ledge through the lens of his own camera as he films and often performs in his own personal journey – extravagant in gesture and in action.

“That his gifts were beyond rare is inarguable by this point. I Am Heath Ledger makes the same case for his soul.” (The Georgia Straight)

“A stirring tribute fittingly seen through the eyes of the artist himself.” (The Playlist)

Directors Adrian Buitenhuis and Derik Murray in attendance for post-screening Q&A.
