From Innesse Blohina, the acclaimed director of the award winning documentary ON THE WAVE (with Kelly Slater – 11th World Surfing Champion ), comes her second film SHE IS THE OCEAN which examines nine extraordinary women from the four corners of the globe who share one thing in common: a profound love for the Sea. A love so profound that they have chosen to make the Ocean the centre of their physical, philosophical and professional lives. In a unique documentary concept, the director has selected these women, ranging from the ages of twelve to eighty three, in order to create a portrait of what could be a metaphor for one woman’s Ocean life through all her ages.
