Vancouver’s “cult sensation” nerdlesque troupe the Geekenders return to the Rio Theatre with an all-new production on Friday, August 11.

Join us as we “burlesque the Bard” and invite you on a highly-artistic literary journey through the world of William Shakespeare, just the way he wanted it — with bawdy wenches, obscure dick jokes, and terrible, terrible puns.

Whether you’re a lifelong Shakespeare nerd (as you like it) or were forced to read the plays in school and want to watch us mess him up and scream the whole time we do it, this is the show for you, foorsooth!

This is a very special show for Geekenders, as this show is a fundraiser, both for our Fringe production of ‘Slumber Here’ (an immersive re-telling of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ based on RPG video games like Fallout or Skyrim, wherein the audience is thrust into the fairy world) and our trip to New York City, where we’ll be mounting two concerts of our parody musical OFF-BROADWAY, this September!
